Easy-to-Clean Cooktop

Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.

Image Feature

Faster Boil Times

With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware bypassing the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.

Image Feature

Consistent temperature with TempLock™

Sensors in the cooktop automatically adjust the power level to maintain a consistent temperature the entire time you cook - it's like cruise control for your cooktop.

Auto Pot Detection Get to mealtime easier with auto pot detection that lights up cooktop controls for the element a pan is placed on when the cooktop is on.

Energy Efficient Cooking Use less energy while you cook with energy-efficient induction technology which heats the pan directly so less heat loss in the cooking process.

Compatible with most cookware Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction elements. Rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it's induction-compatible.

Frigidaire Cooktop Fit Promise Rebate

Offer Expires: 1/1/2024 to 12/31/2024 Must be postmarked by: 2/28/2025

Receive up to a $100 rebate toward a cabinet cutout or countertop modifcation if your new qualifying Frigidaire 30in or 36in Cooktop does not fit your current Cooktop cutout. Rebate form must be postmarked by 2/28/2025.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Exactly what we wanted.

Scotty37 12/6/2024

This Frididaire induction cooktop is exactly what my wife and I wanted. It was simple to install, everything fit in the original cutout for the old cooktop. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cooktop works great and as advertised and it is simple to use. The touch controls are nice because they are part of the glass cooktop and do not protrude above the surface and work the way you expect them to, precise without being too sensitive. Water boils in large pots in half the time it takes with electric or gas cooktops. When you turn down the temperature, it happens right now. Whatever heat setting you select is where it stays and is very controllable. Great stuff.

Relatively easy installation, clean working surface profile. This cooktop is wonderful so far, heat can be controlled in a way that is very similar to the gas range we replaced. We replaced a lot of the cookware we use, although items like cast iron work fine. Our water kettle is the only pot that tends to hum as it heats, but likely because it has an irregular base. Well probably replace it. We love it so far.

Other than replacing a few pots and pans, this new cooktop is great. Advise getting a stovetop specific cleanser as it does show fingerprints and smudges but cleans nicely. Still need more time to become a skilled induction user but much better than standard radiant electric stove

exciting - hope it makes me a good cook!

kereustacio 11/10/2024

So quick - as an old electric stove owner, my adult children always hated cooking on it once they had gas. Just wish I felt comfortable using burner covers while cooking as I can't seem to find a definitive answer about their effect. If it's just a slight loss of efficiency, okay, just don't want to hurt stove.

Beautiful Cooktop

Tuesday June 11/8/2024

My cooktop looks so beautiful. My experience with Frigidaire has been a great experience and the installers were quick and efficient and did a great job. This is a first time with an induction stove, so there is a little bit of a learning curve. I love the features of my cooktop. Love that this cooktop has a bridge. Looking forward to using a griddle and cooking pancakes.

Good unit with some small annoyances

KYCOOKTOP 11/4/2024

Was able to get unit on sale at Lowe's, had been looking to upgrade to induction after old resistance unit glass was cracked very badly. This unit was somewhat easy to install. FIRST annoyance was that for mounting to granite/stone tops there is a seperate install kit which was not mentioned at purchase and from Frigidaire is a little pricy for some brackets.Operation so far has been good, the benefits of induction immediately there (no burning food if it spills, easy clean up, etc). SECOND annoyance, the controls for temperature are not great. Becuase of slider size and number of options, would more rather wanted simple up and down buttons. Somewhat difficult to get to target number (Between 1-9 + P). THIRD annoyance, and maybe just me, but when running, especially on high power there is a very obvious electrical hum. This may be present with all induction tops or be due to pans I got but something I find just a little annoying.

Introduction to Induction

wanabe chef 10/20/2024

Needed to replace an old electric element stove top. Did extensive research and decided to try the Induction technology. Watched advertisements for sale prices and bought a Frigidaire 30" model at a reasonable price. Haven't had it very long, but already like it. It has many features I like, and I have yet to identify any cons. Our existing cookware works well with this unit. Very pleased with the decision to buy.

Worst Customer Service in the Industry

Nocooktop 10/3/2024

DO NOT buy from this company. First, we waited two weeks with our broken cooktop to get delivery of this one. We paid for the delivery, install, and haul away of the old unit. They dropped the old one and not only refused to install it, they would not even take the old one. Customer care is anything but ™€œVIP.™€ We called about the problem and they said someone would reach out that day to remedy it. No call. It took six calls by us to finally reach someone local to help. They said all the right things but a month after the order still nothing has happened. Horrible process and horrible customer service.

Frequently flips a dedicated 30 amp circuit breaker. Frigidaire customer service is totally worthless.

JEJL 9/21/2024

We purchased this cooktop on July 25, 2024. A certified electrician wired a dedicated 30 amp circuit. Within the first month, the cooktop flipped the circuit breaker at least four times. Within two months, the cooktop has flipped the breaker a dozen times. The appliance dealer contacted Frigidaire weeks ago, and so far no action. I tried calling Frigidaire myself, and the customer service agent was rude and refused to help me.

I now have to wait almost 2 months for the warranty to start, before getting service.Frigidaire doesn't care if you waste $1000Frigidaire will read from a script and doesn't care about the humanFrigidaire will not deviate from the script, then not help at all.Save yourself the grief, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.there's a reason they're losing money every quarter.

Defect after two years, huge repair costs.

shelcha 9/14/2024

Things were good for two years. But obviously, I didn™€™t intend to use the cooktop for just two years. Now, it would be tolerable if the extended warranty purchase had worked but the product registration is extremely buggy and customer care just says it will show up after a day, which it doesn™€™t. My cooktop is registered but who knows where in their system, it just doesn™€™t work. And because of that, the warranty doesn™€™t work. Alright, let™€™s get it repaired, based on my search the fan is defect, doesn™€™t sound too bad. Well - the fan is connected to the generator and can™€™t be replaced individually, so repairing it costs as much as a new appliance. What a bad product.

Like it A LOT

Em1950 9/6/2024

Using Consumer Reports in making our decision as to which Induction Cooktop to purchse for our new kitchen, we were impressed by several brands. However, the salesperson emphasized that unless we were looking for very specific (and not necessarily usefull) features, the Frigidaire is more reasonably priced and works as well as all the other most exprensive brands. Now that I've been using it, I am very happy with haow fast it heats up, especially whenboiling water for corn on the cob or spaghetti. I was at first wondering if I should have gotten the 5 and not the 4 nurner, but because each burner is pretyy versatile in terms of size pot, I am happy I got the one we did. Adjusting the settings is a little tricky at first for new induction users, but I am getting the hang of it. Only drawback sometimes is that if your fingers are cold, changing the setting doesn't always respond.

Love our new induction cooktop!

Ezzy313 8/28/2024

We previously had a white glass electric cooktop, that scratched and was always needing to be cleaned. We bought a small plug in induction cooktop to make sure we would like that method of cooking. This Frigidaire cooktop is so much more efficient and takes almost no time at all to prepare meals. We did purchase silicone covers for each of the cook zones just to add additional protection to the cooktop.

I've only had it a week, but so far I'm loving it. I've had induction before, but this has some nice features. Cooks evenly and fast. Installation was fairly easy, but we were disappointed that the installation hardware for granite was not included. These days, I would think that the majority of people going induction would have some type of stone or quartz countertop.

NIce Induction cooktop

adi339 7/19/2024

Works well and fairly easy to use. We really like that the large burners work with smaller pans (our other brand complained if we trie that). The only thing that could be a little easier is using the 'lock' button which locks the controls so you don't accidentally turn it on (when cleaning the cookeop, for example). It took several readings to figture out that you need to hit power on, then hold the lock button, then power off (and similar to unlock)

Poor Customer Service

Cassandra K 7/1/2024

We only used this cooktop for a few months before it started making frying noises and smelling like the electrical was going to catch on fire. Before a year, it completely stopped working and wouldn't even stay on. Since we were within the 1-year warranty, we contacted Frigidaire and they set us up with our local Sears to get the cooktop fixed. Our sears technician took apart the cooktop and found that the wire terminals didn't have any nuts to hold onto the harness, which could have resulted in an electrical fire and shouldn't have even passed quality control. He ordered a new harness and range terminal in April and we waited 2.5 months for the parts to come in, figuring they were on backorder. Our technician had left an 800 number to call in case the parts didn't come in, however, we were never able to reach an actual person when calling that number. Sears finally ended up contacting us after the 2.5 months asking if we had parts at our house that they needed to pick up that they didn't use during the service. I told them that the service hadn't even been completed yet, so they gave me a different phone number to try calling Frigidaire to see why the parts hadn't been delivered. When I called Frigidaire, I was on the phone with them for an hour and a half and by the end of the call, all they were wanting to do was e-mail Sears again asking if the parts had actually been ordered, when they were ordered, and if they were delivered. I kept explaining to the employee that I knew the date that they were ordered because I had the dates and order number written down and I knew it hadn't been delivered because nothing came to our house (the parts were ordered to be delivered to our home). She kept insisting that she needed this information from Sears and put me on hold again and finally when she came back on said she would just order the parts again. When I asked what happened to the original parts that were ordered 2.5 months ago, she didn't have any answers as to why they didn't deliver the parts. With all of the wait times between scheduling service appointments and waiting for parts, we have now been without a cooktop for 5 months. This is the first negative review I've ever written, but just hope I can stop someone else from purchasing this product.

only had it a couple weeks but am amazed how quickly it heats up. Really look forward to cooking with it from now on.

Much more like cooking with gas.

The harness holding the wiring was 3/4 inch and the existing wiring was 1/2 inch and it was difficult finding a cover plate for the electrical box. We finally resorted to taking the existing plate to an electrician to have it cut larger. But once installed, everything seems good and I love having control again. The bridge feature works perfectly.

Better than gas

Replaced a gas cooktop (which I hated) with this one. Easy to clean, faster heating than gas, no emissions, much more visually appealing. Had to replace some cookware that was incompatible, but no big deal. Controls take some getting used to, but again no big deal.

Good stove top. And connecting units for a griddle or big pots

Fits nicely in the counter top. Burners slide on for the temperatures. The top is not ultra touchy. It does not turn off with tiny drops of water. Quite .
